I can see them being different. As in, against future is sticking in this exact moment, whereas traditional is trying to return to an earlier period. However, they are both against our goals of reaching the future, so they look the same.

George Orwell discussed this at length in his book on poverty. He convinced me, it makes sense to live like that when you’ve got nothing. It’s a rational response.
