Our group has been working on an informational piece about the events in Ukraine and the history of it. I and others are pretty well informed on the backstory and events overall that led to 2014. We’ve also got the “Ukraine is pretty fascist and this should be taken seriously” pretty well justified.

What we’re missing however are pieces on the motivations of Russia and US. We lack a good synopsis of their motivations although one could be vaguely made about the various resources involved and the interests of NATO as a bloc overall… But we lack detail.

Can anyone help out? Sources with anything that’s not just a vague reference to imperialism. Things to link to are very important here.
