The funniest (in doomer terms to me) is that this whole even of get back to work and die serfs during a plague is legit the proverbial FEMA Walmart except it’s just the country and ideology we are trapped in with the whole conspiracy just being that the rich are cool with killing off a good swath of the population to make lines go up. I actually just got mine, I spaced out my first two shots (which I actually think was correct considering how long the vax works) so I was just kinda hitting the window where my immunity was getting iffy.
It’s gonna be bad though. There’s very poor education about vax effectiveness, and honestly Americans are already very complacent about flu shots which are kinda the same ballpark
