Don’t let libertarians you come across say this without challenging them on it. The “calculation problem” that the Austrian economists claimed meant that capitalism is always more efficient has been debunked. Just by math alone, computing power must eventually get to a certain point where it is automatically more efficient than the free market. Project Cybersyn showed back in 1972 this was probably already the case decades ago.
