Doorgaans geen fan van de plisie,maar deze actie kan ik alleen maar toejuichen.

Eastman spoke of a:

‘Crossing the Rubicon for our country’

A political and military move which in the end dissolved the Roman republic, ushering in the imperium.

That is kind of a curious metaphor. Either he is completely aware of this and blatantly doubling down or he’s unaware of the implication and just found a fancy way to say ‘watershed moment’.

But either way of interpretation is a bit stupid, which is on brand.

Nice not aware of this little niche hobby. I prefer not wearing watches, personally, but thanks for the insight, that’s pretty cool.

On the more obscure side I like to fiddle with wrist watches by adding aftermarket parts and modifying their overall look.

Could you elaborate a bit? Or post some pictures of mods you made?
