Search engine optimization is why. The more relevant words you pump into your page, the more likely you’ll wind up at the top of searches. Also, you can squeeze in more ad space. Basically it’s capitalism’s fault that I can’t just read a fuckin recipe like I want

This means that when the /r/Dankleft mods come in and moderate !Dankleft how they would /r/Dankleft, the Chapo userbase gets pissed, and that gets taken out on the mod from /r/Dankleft.

If the moderation/eventual userbase of that life boat is going to clash that hard with the existing userbase, what’s the plan for that? Just curious, I don’t want this split in preferences/tendencies/whatever to lead to problems down the line

Edit- it’s a sub with 130k members too, so being generous and saying like 5% of their userbase comes here as new, unique users thats 6500 accounts, probably should iron this out or decide to help them make their own sister lemmy

The Holocaust is basically the #1 reason why people hate Nazis. If you remove the Holocaust from the equation, suddenly Nazis seem more palatable. Holocaust denial serves as a recruitment tool, and in deeper inner circles I’m sure they speak differently on it

Was that what was previously up on that wall? Like did someone take down a Simon Bolivar painting to put up a portrait of Juan fuckin Guiado instead? :agony:

From the same account

I’m blocking anyone who All Lives Matters the Holocaust. It does not detract from the systematic murder of other minority groups to point out the specifically antisemitic nature of the Holocaust.

Scrolled through her feed, she’s a ‘leftist’ who also pushes the ‘Corbyn is anti-semitic’ line lol

From everything I’ve read on them they feel like the first “incel” type shooter. Like far-right, reactionary, violent, blaming everyone else until it builds up and explodes. The media handled it terribly and muddied the waters on motivations, but I think they’d fit into a similar category to most recent mass shooters

You should, while simultaneously getting fellow employees together and joining the suit as well as talking to them about standing together throughout this. You’ve got a “us vs them” narrative you can run with and it can help squash retaliation attempts. Admittedly, I don’t have a roadmap for what that would look like
