Huh I didn’t realize that Azov was in there. How strange of a coincidence is that Azov presence is a better indicator of outrageous atrocities than presence of Russia/DPR/LPR forces.

Could be just IT work which is likely outsourced for western companies. AFAIK Ukraine didn’t bother doing war economy stuff (there’s been reports of humanitarian aid being resold at stores even) so you still gotta grind daily for your overlords.

The ending bit leads one to twitter: https://twitter.com/r_u_vid/status/1509270803715526656. According to that:

  1. This is Dmitro Korchynksy (natopedia), leading fash groups since 90s
  2. I would guess no because both he and the interviewer are speaking Ukrainian and not Russian? There’s little reason for figure of such caliber to be under duress otherwise.
  3. The subs are correct. Like, I would say “thuggish” instead of “unprincipled” at about 11s but it should all convey the meaning.

Here’s the law on Verkhovnaya Rada website: https://itd.rada.gov.ua/billInfo/Bills/Card/39391. First attached document is for the bill itself (though it’s a PDF in Ukrainian) and it does say that those liable for military service, as well as people on a bunch of leadership roles must return within 15 days, and next that they have to return within 15 days after the bill becomes law — it’s not yet. The sentence proposed for offense is 5 to 10 years.
