The second book is the one where the socdem monarchist boy realizes that the capitalist elite will band with the nobles in order to keep their capital even when there’s a massive war coming. The answer to this? Fuck them, eliminate their entire power and install an absolute monarchy/roman dictatorship where at least the king is kind of ok.

Then the third book has the ebil comunist mind controlled guy. Which really sucked.

Those common criminals are backed by the nobility and the magical Illuminati, thought.

Don’t forget how he created some petroleum, which is why there’s gasoline in the second trilogy and probably cars in the next one.

That’s right, God planted those dinossaurs there.

I mean, i get your point but i got a little mad because it felt very “both side-ism”, specially since the Boys belongs to Amazon and that felt more likely than them being secretly based communists. There’s a difference between communists going “both sides” and liberals doing it.

Maybe my opinion will change once i watch the newer season.

Berserk has already finished for me, but i will support Mori and watch “his berserk” with interest.

They should simply go play Gmod or that knuckles uganda VR thing.

Kimiko becomes a fully developed character in season 2, but yeah, she is like that in the first one.

I mean, yeah, a CIA operative cares about their men when they are fighting a dirty war while in enemy territory and wouldn’t want any friendly fire. Seems reasonable.

What always surprises me is not how they misinterpret the outright text in these films. I mean, i can watch a right wing movie and develop a leftist analysis, that makes sense, but these people seem incapable of even doing that.

I mean, ok, a right wing analysis of The Boys: big government bad, vaught is doing corporatism, the boys and starlight are good because they are being the checks and balances for the system while using their liberty as individuals…

I really like ASOIAF but i haven’t really engaged with it in a few years. I’ll return to the fandom when the new series drops.
