reminds me of a bit on my favorite podcast why theory which goes a little something like this: white racists like to caricaturize Mexican immigrants as lazy. The lib daily show retort is “uh so lazy they also steal all our jobs?” (they did a hypocrisy and that is bad). The galaxy brain Hegelian retort is of course they are lazy and of course they are hardworking, because people are and it’s dehumanizing to talk about immigrants as though they are one or the other.

I know from personal experience that I’m a lazy slug who works until their legs fall off.
