They’re white, vaguely the same age, and have neutral expressions. Not really super similar if you look at specifics. But the real overlap comes from voluntary fashion choices being restricted by their desire to look like a certain gender and a certain class. Like look at the glasses. They’re actually all different models. But they all kind of share the same general shape and color because… well have you shopped for men’s glasses? Same with the clothes. Same with their hair. They could technically wear things that are more unusual or colorful or dye their hair or grow it out, but they’re also trying to play into a kind of nerdy PMC vibe, which really limits your range of experimentation.
