I’ve never seen his crying as fake. Like, he’s aware he’s crying on camera and doesn’t stop it, so it’s a choice, but I don’t doubt that he feels deep empathy for people’s pain so long as they’re sufficiently similar to him.

Honestly, not my experience. I know plenty of men who are desperate for positive reinforcement to the point of toxicity. But I don’t understand the baconator thing.
