Mass testing by definition involves reduction in bodily autonomy should testing become mandatory. There is no increase in bodily autonomy being required to do a nasal swab than an anal swab. There is no bodily autonomy in requiring lockdowns that restrict your movement and what activities the public can engage in.

Nothing about this story indicates diplomats being forced at gunpoint, and the entire basis for it is a ridiculous standard about “dignity” for exempting diplomats, a privilege the ordinary population don’t get because they think butt stuff is icky and probably makes you gay or some other ridiculous hang up. If the testing is thought to be accurate, then it makes sense to use it where appropriate.
