Flawed democracy sounds about right for them imo. Do you mean it should be in the same undemocratic group? I *don’t* think it’s quite on par with the likes or North Korea.

I think a lot of parliamentary systems work the same. Dunno if it’s particularly fascist way to elect a speaker.

I think in a lot of the listed cases their status as undemocratic isn’t really under question, even when the source is biased

We just have security guard(s) where I live, at least in some bigger schools, but they also do maintenance and tech support stuff.
