Not a doctor but essentially the virus doesn’t cause clotting but your body’s immune response to the virus might increase clots?

If you have a group of friends you could start a discord server with them to chat and stay in touch. Some of my friends have used the screen sharing feature in discord to watch movies and tv together. Video chats are also an option. It’s not perfect but nothing really is.

I saw research that suggests it’s a blood disease that infects through your respiratory system. The virus increases blood clotting which can lead to strokes and pulmonary embolism.

It’s mostly safe. From what I read keeping distance/not interacting with the delivery driver, transferring the food from the takeout container into a clean dish, and washing your hands after all almost eliminates the risk. It isn’t a food borne pathogen. You need to either breath it in or have it contact with a mucus membrane (i.e. eyes, nose, mouth).

People really aren’t taking it seriously outside. I’ve had maybe 5/3-400 customers wearing masks and most don’t even really try to distance it’s rough. Try to stay in as much as possible if you can.

I agree with everyone else a few year old thinkpad with upgradable ram and storage would be good. I don’t know what your budget is but if you want an open source computer system76 makes preconfigured Linux computers. They are pricey but it’s another option.

Damn that’s rough. Don’t mean to be an asshole but why go out to eat at all? It’s definitely not safe.

That shit is very good. I love how we do theater and pretend everything is ok. RIP your grandma that’s just how the economy works man.

Also very mad nothing is sanitized at my job either. The amount of death and suffering this will cause is insane.

I mean only paying 70% to stay home probably won’t be enough for people. If someone was already struggling to pay bills before on full wages how would they do it on 70% wages.
