Please god no. It’s bad enough getting the lemmynswf and lemmyporn posts in my feed.

Also Loli is definitely CSAM. Kinda weird you defend it when you just want “visual novels”.

You can name the title, that’s fine. The only thing you can’t do here is openly share links to that content (it must be encoded with base64).

When it comes to old media, especially from the early 2000’s and earlier, I start with Archive.org and YouTube.

Like /u/Sharpiemaker suggested, your library would also be a good spot to check. If you have a reference library in your system they are a goldmine for that sort of thing.

Alternatively, you can pick up a cheap capture card and record the tape to your PC.

No. If anything I’d edit my post to better reflect what I was trying to communicate.

We have a Home Movie of me at 3 years old playing Tetris on my cousin’s Gameboy. I don’t remember a time that video games weren’t a part of my life.

The first game I remember realy clicking for me was Donkey Kong Country. I can still play that game off muscle memory alone.

You have other options thankfully. If you’re in a large city, you can often find small independent retailers which sell tickets. When I lived in Toronto I used to go to a record shop to buy mine.

You can also go to the venue directly. Oftentimes if it’s a smaller venue they’ll have tickets available as well. Stadiums usually don’t go this route, but it’s worth a shot.

Lastly there are other online retailers for tickets like https://stubhub.com

Ticketmaster is a goddamn scam. The entire industry knows it, but it makes money for the labels so they tolerate it. There’s a reason Taylor Swift and The Cure have been making a big stink about them lately. I personally won’t go to a concert if Ticketmaster is the only retailer, but I’m fortunate that most bands I see play in smaller venues.

Physics Videos by Eugene Khutoryansky

Not really a small YouTuber with just under 1 mill subs, but he’s a good example of someone just doing their own thing. Super bizarre videos, but incredibly well made at the same time.
