I’ve been quite civil. You just keep getting your panties twisted because someone sees the world differently.

That’s fine if you don’t want a nuclear family. But it’s rude to criticize people who might.

Just like it would be rude of me to criticize a homosexual family structure.

How about an example of gay people criticizing straight people for choosing their family structure? Oh wait that’s this thread.

I get that it was in response to a hateful person. But acting like a hateful person is the exact opposite way to say their behavior is wrong.

Deductions.

Realists see a fact and then follow it to it’s logical conclusion to find the most likely outcome.

Fighting bigotry with bigotry is destructive. And whether you recognize it as bigotry or not, other people do. So kindly follow the golden rule and don’t behave like bigots. Even sarcastically.

Being critical of ideas isn’t hateful. Unless those ideas are tied to orientation.

For example, the idea that LGBT people are groomers isn’t being critical. It is hateful.

You’re right it was rude to question your competence. But when you say you can’t be racist against “insert race here” that’s a pretty good indication you’re racist

This is a fair argument but I think the line between criticizing behavior only one orientation partakes in and bigotry is incredibly fine and also leads to abuse.

I’m not mad. I’m just pointing out the above fact. I’m only continuing to comment because my inbox exploded with aggression.

I never said I didn’t like it. I just think that partaking in the same behavior you criticize is cringe. I’m always going to point out hypocrisy.
