Ah right, I know a lot of apps that need to stay on constantly will use a notification to keep themselves awake, and it’s usually not on by default because it’ll murder your battery. I’ve had luck in the past using Flud rather than LibreTorrent, so you might try that. But my general advice would be to avoid using a phone for this; I’m guessing you’ll run into similar issues with Flud.
Realistically, pushing veganism is simply a bad choice in America. Instead, we should be pushing a simple reduction in meat consumption. Just educate people and encourage them to REDUCE meat in their diet.
-
Take away the government subsidies that make our meat artificially cheap, doing that alone will naturally raise meat prices and lower the average person’s meat intake.
-
Consider throwing a carbon tax on the types of meat with the greatest environmental impact, why not?
-
If we want to be more equitable we could only tax the “luxury” meats (like goose, veal, lamb, oysters, or expensive beef cuts that are usually only purchased by upper class people anyway).
There are a lot of ways to skin this cat (lol), and I think we’ve sufficiently demonstrated that most Americans are WAY too resistant to cutting all meat out of their diet.

Ah, yeah Plex will show results for just about any show you search for, but they’re not necessarily streaming it themselves. They’re trying to be the central place you go to figure out where stuff is streaming. Kinda like justwatch.com.
Samsung phone? Settings > Battery > Battery > Background usage limits > Never sleeping apps. Add Libretorrent there.
If you’re on another brand of phone, there might be a slightly different place that you need to look. It’s annoying, but you often have to disable sleep in more than one place.
No. There have been many attempts at this, and just as many failures. Centralization is not the answer.
I’ve heard of people bagging and relocating them several miles away. Makes sense to me if you’re careful about where you put them. Not sure how kosher that is though…
