This lpt gets repeated fairly often but I can’t believe anyone actually follows it. How dull is life if you really only have one style of sock?

Why the fuck would investors get compensation? Isn’t the entire point of investing that your capital is at risk

Occasionally only one of my monitors will turn on, I end up having to unplug the power cable to kick the other in to life.

I’m using Debian, with an AMD 6700 XT graphics card, dual monitors via display port. I’ve just ended up accepting it as one of the quirks of the Linux experience.

Labour didn’t win this election. The lib dems didn’t do particularly well and the tories didn’t even perform that badly.

Labour and the lib dems are congratulating themselves on their wins but the reality is reform handed them most of the seats by splitting the right wing vote.

We need electoral reform so badly. Without it we’re just going to go back to Conservative majorities as soon as they sort their shit out.

Or Shark.

Like Apple, Dyson is just good at marketing. The products themselves are fine but nothing special.

Because after 14 years of Tory rule our living conditions are dire and mental health services not fit for purpose.

I get what you mean but I find anti car rhetoric way too overdone.

Given the topic is about health issues there’s going to be a lot of people who have limited mobility so cycling isn’t viable and walking may only be short distances. Therefore a car provides them freedom they need.

Nah, if you leave people on waiting lists they give up, turn to private options or just die, so it’s no longer your problem. That’s the cost saving approach the NHS uses for mental health services.
