Lol I didn’t want to say it before I made my train journey home tonight, just in case I jynxed it, but this seems to have been the classic case of British over-worrying about a storm which culminates in a few wheelie bins blowing over and a few garden gnomes being mildly inconvenienced.

I think the mistake itself doesn’t necessarily point to incompetence, however the fact that it wasn’t properly tested and verified does.

Obviously visiting the imgur page is another matter, there’s plenty of crap there, and it’s a bit of a pain to actually dig out the direct url. However I wanted to get the crosspost link from the place I took this meme from.

At least now lemmy instances are generally hosting images themselves. There was a point where everyone got afraid of child porn and many of them stopped allowing hosting. Now, you can even copy the image and paste it into a comment and it uploads and does all the code for you.

I’m a big fan of almond milk. When I have a chai latte it’s always with almond milk. I generally find it the closest to milk, all the other ones have their own unique taste which impacts the flavour of the thing I’m having it with.

Almond milk? I’m not sure, I’ve not really had it in tea, but it not massively changing the flavour is exactly the reason I use it for cereals and chai lattes.

Another one for chai lattes: they go very well with spiced rum, and no one will even think that might be in a Starbucks cup!
