Black belt in Mikado, Photo model, for the photos where they put under ‘BEFORE’
Flameshot is a really nice screenshot tool, but the big drawback is, that it only upload to Imgur, one of the worst Data hogs. The best and most complete is ShareX, there you can set the destinations to your like, but it has also a big drawback, it’s Windows only (depends on NETframework, same as Greenshot)
You can use Flameshot, but recomment to store the screenshots only locally and upload to share/host later to, eg vgy.me, or some self hosted one, like FileCoffee (valid for all type of files, image, video, multimedia, documents, presentations, etc.)
Smombies
Yes, the only thing which until now isn’t opensource is Magic Earth, which they use in their /e/OS (degoogled Android) instead of Google maps.
The inbuild ad/rackerblocker works fine for me, even blocks cookie advices and even some paywalls. It depends only on the filterlists you add. The only site where the Vivaldi adblocker failes is YouTube, but for this I use instead a script with Violentmonkey which get rid of all ads, nags and craps in YT. You can adjust your adblocker with the help of this service
I use also Murena Mail, apart of Proton https://murena.io
Tech Radar review
Murena’s key goal is to stop companies collecting unnecessary data from your phone and online footprints, which it says accounts for up to 12Mb every single day. Transparency is clearly important when browsing Murena’s website, which states that all of its servers are based in Europe including its Finnish email and cloud servers, resulting in full GDPR compliance.
Nextcloud, which sets the foundation for many of Murena’s services, is end-to-end encrypted, while a statement on Murena’s website reads:
“We don’t scan your data, we don’t log your app usage, we don’t sell your data, we don’t use ads in our online services.”
Negative points for some
- Only 1 GB Cloud for free (maybe enough if you only use the mail)
- Somewhat more expensive than others with the Premium plan
Yeah, wait for it. Even in China they are not cappable to control all the privacy tricks and measures for messages by the users. Where there is a law, there is also a trick to go around it, I doubt very much that they manage to control more than the usual chat apps, the effort would be economically unaffordable to do it also in decentralized or even on self-hosted private networks.
The only is avoid centralized chats, using decentralized encrypted ones. For all those which use Watsfuck and others like these Google-Zuckerbot derivates it makes anyway no difference if the EU scan or not their chats, especially using stock iPhone or Android.
Well, I understand that with some years in an plastic bowl, the salt may absorb some substances and microplastics. But about Honey, what comes in glass jars? There they also put an expiration date, even though still edible honey has been found in several thousand years old Egyptian tombs.
