Funny how I could tell this guy was Brazilian just based on this picture and his name.
This might be wrong, but I remember Trotsky at some point bringing up that Russia was in the Asiatic state of production at some point, saying it was like China where the power is more centralized in the figure of the sovereign who delegates to handpicked provincial governors instead of local power having local sovereignty like in Western Europe. Regardless, I think there is something to be said about China and Russia being alike one another and unlike the West at that point in history.
Unpopular opinion: if you want to spend time on the parts of the internet that are about politics, the most useful thing you can do there is either debate politics or look at politics being debated. It’s definitely better than wasting time looking at memes and spamming the “please Xi, nuke us” emoji at everything. Sue me.
The official theme of the page is still Bernie being bad, so people who don’t want to talk about that would go somewhere else.
Come on guys, you know what he means. From his perspective China is the Nazis because it has elements of the far left (socialist) and far right (bans sissies from the media), Woke America is the Soviet Union because it is “leftist” and the center is America because it’s the everyman everyone can relate to.

Probably not many people want to settle there because it’s very poor even by Mexican standards.
> be me
> have this really wonderful dream where I spend a buncha time in a really cozy bookstore of my childhood looking for a book
> wake up
> remember that bookstores today are typically designed in this annoying “modern” way that’s the opposite of cozy, kinda like today’s McDonalds
> remember that every single bookstore I used to go to before covid closed permanently and turned into something else, realize that now I gotta go downtown to go to a bookstore or buy books online, realize the trend is leaning ever towards getting books online being the only option
