infeeeee
It would overflow to minus 2^31, as she says it’s signed, so not 1970 (that’s zero) but 1901 would follow: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem
And the train is clearly inspired by the Wuppertal Schewebebahn:
In JOSM you can do this easily, with OOTB tools:
- Download a small part of the map where the busline goes with the down button.
- Enable the relation list window: Alt+Shift+R, or there is a button for it on the left vertical toolbar, there is a chance, that it’s enabled by default.
- Find the relation in this relation window, you can use search there. Search for the name or the ID of the relation.
- Rightclick on the relation in this window: Download members, then rightclick again -> Duplicate
- After confirmation it will open the relation editor window. It’s not hard to understand, there is a nice tutorial about it on the josm wiki: https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Help/Dialog/RelationEditor You will have to select lines and add them with the arrows. It will show if there is a gap in the path. You can reorder already added streets by drag and drop.
- If you finished OK, than Upload!
JOSM seems like a beast at first, but once you learn to use it you can’t go back to iD, it’s annoyingly inefficient. Don’t try to learn everything at first, start slowly, one feature at a time. I still don’t know everything after 747 changesets from JOSM. RTFM, everything is clearly written in the osm and josm wikis. Anywhere in the program you hit F1 it will open a contextual help.
I think it shouldn’t be managed on lemmy side but on the users’ side, e.g. on your device/browser. Libredirect can automatically redirect to those sites, not on just lemmy, but everywhere on the internet: https://libredirect.github.io/
Another problem is these alternative frontends relatively frequently disappear. If you post a link to a random instance, it’s quite possible that 5 years later the instance will be down, and the link won’t work at all. Libredirect addon updates the urls of working instances, so it will work later. There is even a button in the addon to switch to another instance, so you can find the best available site.
Edit: I misunderstood what are these sites, they are not imgur frontends but separate image host websites, so this comment is just about the first paragraph.
Ah, ok, I misunderstood, because you started with the piped bot, and that’s totally different from this services. So you are not writing about imgur frontends, but for uploaders to upload their images elsewhere. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I just don’t like that bot.
But for embedding images, your privacy scan is not relevant, it’s just the home page of imgur you scanned. If you share the direct link to the image, no tracker downloaded, only the image. Just rightclick on the image and ‘Copy image link’. If you paste this link to this privacy inspector it says no trackers, as it’s not a webpage, just an image. They will know your ip and useragent, but that’s all, no extra tracking:
Of course it’s better to support more privacy respecting services, and thank you for the recommendations, but it’s not as big issue as it sounds. It doesn’t affect the viewers of the images just the uploaders.
Have you read this? https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Apple/MacBookAir/6-2
There is a link to the webcam kernel module there: https://github.com/patjak/facetimehd/wiki
I hate this graphic. Should we consider the 3rd dimension as well? I mean, the “thickness” of the barrel is much bigger behind e.g. UAE than Oman. From the numbers it seems we shouldn’t.
But the boundary follows the arc on the top and bottom, so it’s definetily projected to the half surface of a cilynder, but the voronoi lines are straight, but they should curve just like the top and bottom.
Wayland/X11/Xwayland? Which distro, which kernel?
Does this happen with all apps, or only with Console?
I have an old touchscreen lenvo yoga, I use it with gnome and never noticed this. Checked it for this post, and it behaves the same way :) I use the touchscreen only for scrolling webpages, never wanted to touch buttons on the header, I never use it as a tablet, always in laptop mode.
Played a bit and I could reproduce the issue, in multiple apps, but I don’t know when it happens. Also when it stops registering the touches it also stops registering touchpad clicks on the header buttons, so I guess it’s not a touch only issue, I cannot even click on that ellipsis button with the touchpad anymore. Making the app fullscreen solves it sometimes, also opening the activities overview helped sometimes.
It seems totally random when it happens.
