I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but honestly that sounds really peaceful and almost cocoon-like. Not to say that my experience (00-13) was much different, but I feel like I’ve always imbued everything with a cosmic significance for as long as I can remember. It sounds nice to perceive your life in such a grounded, mellow way.

Honestly I think you are better off reading any of the commonly recommended books stickied in the megathreads: Das Kapital, State and Revolution, etc.

Idk if it’s because chapo.chat is still quite small relative to what r/cth was or because of the inherent solidarity/appreciation for what we had once the subreddit was banned, but I’ve noticed a lot less sarcasm, cynicism, infighting and much more comradely behavior here. Unironically makes me really hopeful. Revolutionary optimism.
