Soldering is way easier if you have a good iron ($15-20ish minimum)

With a good iron and using flux it melts solder instantly, it feels like working on an art project. Even lead free solder.

I haven’t done any serious soldering but I was surprised how easy it was to make basic repairs (reattaching wires) once I got a decent iron.

I like to use a throwaway profile on my Xbox because I am paranoid, no account has ever been banned (except for using RetroArch to share porn I think lol), bc the backlash would be pretty big, but I use one just in case.

It makes it a little more convenient since then my controller is always automatically remapped on that profile for Dolphin.

It’s pretty wild because even though a lot of config is required online play is also supported, Phantasy Star Online via the emulated broadband, and some hacky ways to play Mario Kart

Idk if Project M is still around but that and Melee might also be working

It’s very early right now for the Dolphin UWP, the first functioning version was pushed to the Microsoft store around a month ago, the Dolphin UWP has basically has no UI for setting up these options but I know Mario Kart online play has been set up successfully in the MVG video.

Dolphin for PC has multiplayer options already built into the UI, so does Citra for PC, RetroArch for Xbox in retail mode has online options on the GUI (albeit the options are more limited in retail mode compared to Developer Mode)

Other users would know better as I barely just got mine working just before I made this post lol
