It mentions crypto is in decline as a contrast to B&N. Bitcoin is at an all time high last time I checked.

While Bitcoin is extremely volatile, it brings into question the relevance of everything else in the article.

For those brave enough, this year I finally took the plunge and went with Linux on my desktop.

I went with Pop OS, and after a few days decided to try the cinnamon desktop env. since it’s a little more familiar. Some things took about a week to get figured out, but now I don’t ever want to go back.

Did you try remmina?

I really didn’t like how minions took over Facebook back in the day, but now that I’m not seeing their faces mismatched to memes anymore… good for them, I guess.

Idk, but this last nvidia update broke things for me. Changing my display with ARandR wouldn’t work, I’d get a black screen with a mouse cursor and it would never recover, and the display driver would crash when waking the computer from sleep. I ended up reverting to the 470 drivers and that fixed it for me.

I don’t knowwww. I just for back from an out of town trip that lasted a week and a half and I remember updating everything when I got back.

So I’m really just assuming it was a graphics driver update, especially since rolling back my drivers fixed the issue.

Buying stuff now is all a service, go old school and buy paper books and pirate digital stuff. If the person who died at Disney had been a pirate, then Disney would be NOT OK MURDERER.
