can/should student unions be a thing?

i’ve been getting dicked by shitty professors with exhausting workloads for the second straight semester now and classmates are experiencing the same thing, but we literally have no power to do anything. even if we ban together to share a complaint nothing changes. i have no idea how a student union would work or function but god damn shitty professors are straight up not help accountable whatsoever. week 3 and i’m already burnt the fuck out

it seems like kids have tried doing this in the past but to no avail. some of the professors i have right now are the worst in the department and have been for years, and no one knows why the school insists on keeping them around

for real, idk why professors are so insistent on doing their own thing and disregarding the students’ opinions. beyond infuriating especially during these remote semesters

i actually liked him as batman, mostly because i thought he was a great bruce wayne. i definitely think it was the material though. the ultimate test would’ve been the solo film, sucks we never got it
