On this site its pretty much just shooting the shit and dunking on inept consent manufacturing. I don’t really think of this as an argument as much as it is just an interesting comparison with how even DPRK defectors all talk about having to cross a minefield in the dark while being chased by dogs.
There’s still people here who think a full blown genocide is happening and we get into debates about it all the time. Wet call out weak ass arguments because I see them get trotted out in debates in here against people who are smart enough to see the holes in it, and when those holes get pointed out most people’s response seems to be to whine about it which reinforces the whole “you’re just be a contrarian stan” position.
