Fellow FromSoftware fans, why do you think Dark Souls 3 is regarded as the true and superior sequel to the original Dark Souls?

Love the game, but I also love Dark Souls 2.

Was wondering why Dark Souls 2 Is loathed by some fans and Dark Souls 3 is venerated by the those same fans?

Dark souls 2 is my fav out of em all and nioh 2 is better than any fromsoft game except armored core
