Why not Firefox?

I use Vivaldi which has a bunch of features which are essential to how I use a browser:

  • being able to customise keyboard shortcuts and menus
  • tab stacks and being able to stack tabs by host
  • tab tiling
  • being able to hibernate all background tabs

I do use Firefox for all social media sites so that I can use containers with them, and also means I have a nice split between “work” and play between my browsers. For example, if I need to be productive I can close Firefox without too much concern

You have a legitimate use case :) Keep in mind that Vivaldi is closed source though
