Obviously, being published in 1935 those connections aren’t direct or explicit, but it is readily apparent (to me at least) how a lot of the issues discussed in the book still have relevance today.
He actually met with Mao in 1959! The last of his published works I can find is Africa in battle against colonialism, racialism, imperialism (1960)
