Or Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2, which are kinda sorta supposed to be spiritual successors to Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, and are pretty good
For an even closer spiritual successor, to me at least, try Pathfinder: Kingmaker. I think it’s the ruleset but it’s the closest I got to that Baldur’s Gate feel with the wave of new cRPGs. Second closest being Pillars of Eternity 2 (which is leagues better than the first one IMO).
