I didn’t grow up watching sports, so never understood the rules making it uninteresting to watch in general. Lived with a couple friends in my early to mid twenties who started streming the LoL world championships on the living room tv and finally got it. Watching them is ok, but the communal activity is what makes it a thing.

What counts as a sport can be an interesting question becuase people are so variable with what they’ll count. I’m not going to argue that video games are a sport, but I will say that if it’s based around a ball it’s a game and not a sport to me.
Also driving doesn’t count. I’ll admit that racing takes skill but still not a sport.
