They are people who have played wayyy too much Call of Duty and are disconnected from reality. My observation is that they want to be video game characters in real life without realizing that them or other people really actually die when you shoot at them. I’m not saying that they don’t want to shoot people. I’m saying they don’t exactly understand what that means because their lives up to this point have been so consequence-free.

I don’t think most are ‘fascist’ per se. Their ignorance makes them easy for fascists to drawn in though. They are incapable of valuing human life due to their experiences. I think many are trying to find an easier in-road to do gun violence than the military or police which require a period of training and personal discipline.

Don’t anybody get me wrong, they should be shunned by the left or re-educated when possible. I’ve seen some comments around the left interwebs defending them as ‘not right wing’. It seems coordinated to me, and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone is running a propaganda campaign to try to make inroads with the left. Fortunately it seems like its mostly being shut down once the fence sitters see what the boogs are really like in the wild.
