Can’t wait to play it 2 years after release when they make it playable

The ancoms you refer to are actually called "anarcho-liberals’ a.k.a. ancaps with ancom flags because Paradox is dumb.

No literally all rebels have the “ancom” flag. It’s just a generic rebellion flag in PDX games.
CK3 is an actual good game on release, the main flaw is it being too easy and lacking content. The UI in particular actualy feels like something of a modern GSG should be like, I mean it is realy good for PDX standards.
If this is the new pattern you can expect the game to be quite shallow but playable which to me is a victory when it comes to PDX.
