Where does this fetishization come from?
Orientalism I’d imagine, the enduring trope that asian women are model wives and whatnot. I’m sure this shit is reinforced by the media they consume like anime.

Not just anime, lots of movies and shows out there have reinforced the negative stereotype but yeah I’d imagine for younger people it was anime/video games.
