Any of you guys who are a bit savvy about tech have any idea how long until PS5s might be easier to get with the chip shortage going on

Not a new design, but a new revision using a different chip that is easier to source but has the same performance profile as the launch revision. The end user won’t notice any difference, but the intention is to increase production output and reduce the scalping incentive.
