definitely. my mother sensed the lesbianism early and was very enthusiastic about “letting” me skip school for a day to go to the nearest town to get that done. I can still feel weird kind of tubes(?) under the surface of my earlobe if I squeeze them a little, even though I literally never wore earings after the few week ‘you can’t take them out or it’ll seal up’ period, but still, 12 years later I have a weird permanent little mark of enforced femininity.
Don’t bodymod your kids folks, it’s fucked up and even the shit that’s supposed to be harmless will never be completely undone and always carries some risk of infections or whatever.
