It always pains me to see declassified CIA docs admitting to lies and the public at large acting like it’s out of context, contradicts with what they learned in history class or is photoshopped :agony-limitless:

View all comments I think most people who do this shit find a system to be a part of, and then build themselves and their conscience around being the good guy for that choice. I don’t know how to save them when it breaks, and I don’t know how not to hate them until it does.
There’s no rhyme or reason or logic. I find it all super fucking grim.
Job, identity, supposed conscience. It goes deeper than employment. You see it in unemployed folks too.
