Well there’s definitely the unspoken shift now that coronavirus is actually something that should be avoided/cured. However their reflexive contrarianism toward anything the Liberal Media tells them to do leads them to the conclusion that the “real cure” is something that they never see on the news and/or something the news comes out explicitly against. Then they’re susceptible to the first snake oil salesman wearing all the correct right-wing signifiers that comes along, which is exactly what happened with both hydroxychloroquine and now ivermectin. Mainstream media coverage of all the people annihilating their livers and dying of this shit only reinforces their belief that they’ve found the secret sauce.
