I didn’t give money to Hasan, but I believe people who did should have the right to complain. I try to avoid the subject in general because I don’t personally have a strong and coherent vision for what he should have done instead.
Complain about what, though? They paid for an entertainment subscription, and they have the right to complain if they feel not fully entertained. If they’re mad that their Twitch.tv subscription money didn’t go to building a commune (an actual unironic complaint that I’ve seen multiple times), then they have only themselves to be angry at, for failing to understand what they paid for.
