The narrator in the video, perhaps it’s Ken, but we’re not sure, explains that a train depot has been transformed into a makeshift lumber yard. He said train loads of lumber coming out of Canada are offloaded here and then transported by tractor-trailer to lumberyards across the country.
None of this means that there isn’t a shortage, depending on how the shortage is calculated. If this supply is already included and they’re saying “Even with this, we won’t be able to meet demands” then it does nothing to debunk shortage claims.
There’s no shortage. Prices have dropped to pre pandemic level.
There never was shortage. It was just middle men maxing profit. And when the middle men realized that constriction companies where starting to build with masonry and metal they realized they had to release what they where hording
