Is a legitimacy crisis immenent in the U.S.?

I go back and forth a lot between thinking people are losing faith in U.S. systems in record time, and thinking that I’m making up libidinal fantasies and overestimating the speed or extent of that loss of faith.

So what do you all think?

People on these kinds of websites keep saying this, and it keeps not happening. Recent history suggests this is libidinal fantasy.

The seeds are being planted, but I don’t think we’re anywhere close to the US state collapsing. I doubt it’ll be within this decade or next.
