that maher and vanlife influencers are both terrible. Maher because he’s a charlatan, and the influencers because they tend to be white people from well off backgrounds who can do that shit. im probably also tainted by the fact that i know someone who is doing the vanlife thing, and it was so easy to accomplish when her parents bought her a van to travel the country with your dog selling hippy shit at Phish concerts. It’s just a gross display of privilege. Do the vanlife thing but don’t be vain about it.
