I have a question regarding that cringe podcast called “chapotraphouse”

In their last episode they mentioned the FBI dm-ing psychos to make them do shootings.

I knew about the FBI organizing honeypots for boogaloos/nazis/etc, but I haven’t heard of this

What’s the goal of these? Like, I understand doing it once to get someone important killed but like constantly? what for?

Also, and probably the first thing I should ask, are these real?
