All I hear from neoliberals and pod jon style people is that actually this is totally unfair and the people that actually vote for you should have their expectations managed better. No exaggeration or joke, just openly admit the point of neoliberal bourgeois “politics” is not to manage the distribution of goods or provide for the masses but to manage peoples expectations and get your bag and feel like you did something useful at the end instead of having another turn on the trammel of archimedes.
