The succdem revolution is happening. r/chapotraphouse is ecstatic. Bernie is a god, he’s crushing the polls, the presidency is all but won. Biden’s campaign has flopped miserably. You drink the establishment Democrats’ tears. You knew your faith in liberalism would be rewarded. All is well.
Hot take: Bernie getting ratfucked wasn’t so bad in the spectrum of possible outcomes. He never would have done anything much different, you can see that by how instantly he caved to Biden. This way, at least it shows the farce of the whole process to a bunch of people.
Counterpoint: Unlike Biden, Bernie did want to push policies. His executive orders and the subsequent legal fights as the media, Supreme Court, and every other branch of government called him a populist, communist, or fascist for wanting to help poor people would have heightened the contradictions way more than the Biden regime using the media and parliamentary to sweep things under the table.
And to be fair, he didn’t instantly cave to Biden. The Biden campaign were literally telling people it was safe to vote in person and the DNC refused to move to mail in ballots until Bernie dropped out.
