Eh, I don’t think there’s central chess pieces anymore. What happens to India is important, but I think the conclusion is already inevitable based on material conditions.

This seems like a tautology. I think a more important point is that very little is known about the material conditions of India throughout the anglosphere aside from stereotypes of widespread poverty (maybe I’m telling on myself). Even if India is following some sort of materially predetermined destiny, we would all benefit from having a better understanding of it.

My naive take is that they have a pretty fascist government but there are more communists within India than there are spooks throughout the 5 Eyes. They’re a nation of 1.4 billion people, second only to China. They are vitally important by sheer scale, and often overlooked (and if not overlooked, deliberately blacked out in the media).
