Like many, I too fell out of Chapo due to the same valid criticisms like many of you did.

That being said, Chapo really was a rallying cry to sort of unify the left in ways that never really existed in a cohesive way from 2016-2018/2019.

Don’t know about you, but I think I was overly invested in the pod to be an easy solution to solving a lot of these problems, which sounds ridiculous to type out, but there weren’t a lot of lifeboats to cling to.

The second DNC sabatoge of Bernie in the primaries sort of threw anything leftist into chaos, along with the last gasps of the 2020 social movements effectively being quashed by extreme and targeted policing.

Absolutely nothing was learned from the whole opportunity covid presented by the general population. And yeah I’ve been turned on to këwler pods like :citations-needed: and :brace-cowboy:

But there’s still some beacon of hope flickering in the old Trap House. It’s always been and always will, and have to give them some credit for still trying to make a difference

It’s good because it’s funny and more light-hearted. Easy to listen to. Revleft and citations needed are more serious.
