no real way to avoid some parts ending up in your food, no matter what. When Jains(I think this is how it is spelled) immigrated to the US, they started showing many health problems. It was eventually figured out that the higher food safety standards in the US had lead to them consuming fewer insect parts then they traditionally had, so they were lacking proteins.
Big doubt. It’s really fucking difficult to not get enough protein on a plant-based diet if you’re eating adequate calories each day. The “proteins are only found in animal sources” thing is a ridiculous myth.
there’s some proteins just not found in plants. They were gotten from eggs and milk by pre-modern vegetarians, and modern vegans have to get them supplemented.
