Maybe this is a bad take but personally I believe banning the word cracker is not a bad idea. Otherwise I think twtich users would eventually come up with a similar “biscuit word” aimed at black people and create tons of emotes about it that they can spam whenever a black person is on stream.

That’s true but at least this way you preemptively take away a bunch of right wing talking points about how both cases are totally equivalant and how twitch is engaging in white genocide by allowing words like cracker while banning slurs against black people.

This is a losing battle. You can’t defeat fascists in the Marketplace of Ideas™, by the time you’re done “taking away” those talking points they’re already ten more talking points ahead of you. Everything a fascist says is disposable, they’re not attached to any argument.
